I think you are asking a great question, but I have to ask what level do you think Christians should live "it" - being the Christian Life. I try every day to live the way that God would have me to, but I fall short each day. Each day I have judgemental thoughts and struggle with sin, but that doesn't mean I don't try to follow what the Bible says. I believe the level a person has to live to is whatever God has laid on their heart and that changes as the Christian grows in their walk and relationship with God. But, we all fall short every day and are thankful for a Savior. Good question!
What i mean by living "It" is living the way your suppose to....Saying no to drugs and incouraging some of your friends to follow your example. Not just sitting by and letting your friends go to hell cuz you cant stand up and say "STOP BEING STUPID!" I mean reading your bible and not only understanding it yourself but also sharing it with others. Being the example God wants you to be. Now im not speeching to you personally im saying all of this in general about christians. Its time to stand up and be who we've all been called to be. Falling short will happen it's how God made us, but to fall short simply because you dont want to leap is totally different than trying your hardest to leap as far as you can. If you fall short you should pick yourself back up and try to get better (to reduce the chances of it happening again). Plus our faults and our failures are tools we can use to bring other people to Chirst and get them on the right path. Our faults and failures are the same as others. A pheonix can rise from a pile of ashes and swore to great lenths.
It's difficult to always be a true Christian when you're surrounded by constant distractions. It's important to keep thinking about your faith.
I know for me, I've struggled over the years. I think I practice a good life and try to be a good person, but there's no doubt in my mind that I still do things wrong.
True, we all do stuff wrong...its unavoidable..but trying your hardest to be the person god wants you to be and just giving 50 percent are to totally different things....as a christan you should try every day to give 110 percent and more for god and to fix yourself as much as possable...and try as hard as you can to not repeat any of the mistakes you've made...and when you do make mastakes to learn from them and try to never go back to them again.
